I don't know about that. As competitive as some people already get, I think they may have a heart attack if there's actual money at stake.
I tried this once, but I'm pretty sure I only played for 5 - 10 minutes and I don't remember much else. I guess that means I didn't like it!
I can't speak for how it is on the PSP, but the controls on the Wii version really make it.

Originality is definitely important, but quality is key. A game can copy all it wants as long as its good, especially if its better.
